Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (18 months minimum mentioned in general policy) 2. Cases: Adult ICU, General Care and Adult Intensive Care; preferred trauma experience 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT required 4. License: IN license must be in hand to submit and prior to start date 5. Education: Must be in-person, accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA; university must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s or 4x12s; cannot work more than 5 days in a row; weekend coverage required; floating 100% required 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: PERM or PRN employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for some positions but not MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER; eligible locals offered in-state rate at lower BR 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14.
