- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RRT and 1 year ECMO Specialist required 2. Cases: Adult Critical Care required; ECMO machine experience required; care of patients with ARDS, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID, ECMO, Fresh tracheostomy, Pneumonia 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT, and State License required; copies required at submission 4. License: State License required; license in hand preferred, otherwise must apply for MN license through Aya project when offer accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic/Excellian required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (1830-0700) with occasional day shift rotation; on-call required as needed; every other weekend required 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days; vacation plans between sign date and start date must be communicated at submission 9. Returning Staff: Traveler must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile travel requirement; candidates less than 100 miles redirected (exception for Radiology positions) 11. Background: Cannot proceed if open case; all hits reviewed during compliance; fingerprinting required with LiveScan 12. Modules: Pre-start modules required, average 8 hours, $150 stipend provided; onsite Epic/Excellian classes billable 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted with minimum 1 year ECMO specialist experience 14. Scrubs: Ceil Blue provided or Olive Green (traveler owns) 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: CardioHelp; extensive airway management devices, ventilator management, and medication delivery systems required Critical: Must have ECMO machine experience. Arterial puncture experience required. One supervisor reference minimum required at submission. Will float as needed within hospital or to affiliate hospitals.
