- Unit Notes:Department: Critical Care Respiratory Therapist *Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT* State of WI RT license. (this can take 6 to 8 weeks to get) **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - Types of patients: All Adult units & ED. Will be expected to cover pediatric patients while in the ED. - What areas do they cover: Inpatient and ED. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 2 years of RT experience, Must have trauma level 2 or 3 experience, Will accept first-time travelers, Will accept travel duos, cannot guarantee scheduling. Need to have critical care experience. - Job Duties: RT does ABGs and CBGs in intensive care units. We cover for EKG department over night and for some situations when they need coverage. - Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist?: RT assists with intubation only. May place laryngeal airway (King airway) during code blue situation. - Neonatologist/Hospitalists?: Neonatologists & Hospitalists in-house 24/7 - Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist?: We have a RT system director, then RT manager and supervisor on site as well as a lead RT assigned for each shift. - Shifts & Scheduling: 3- 12 Hr shifts, Day 0630-1900 & Nights 1830-0700. Manager and supervisor complete a 6 week schedule - we try to block schedules when ever possible. - Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend. - Holiday Requirements: Every other Holiday. - Call or standby call requirement?: Not required, occasionally have off shift call needs from 1900-0400. Will take volunteers in order to maintain safe minimums. - What is call response time: 1 hour. - Floating Requirements: N/A. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs - encourage good supportive footwear. - RT Equipment: Vents - Servo U, Servo I, PB840 (replacing with Servo U), Hamilton T1. Bipap/CPAP - V-60, V-30, Resmeds. Highflow - Vapotherm. Also have INOmax Plus, Oscillators, Cough assist, Volara. - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist for Medical/surgical units. Intensivists in ICUs 24/7. - Department Specific Orientation: Orientation express with leadership then 3-4 days Orientation on the floors. *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.* All clinicians must clock in and out at facility Date Entered On: 11/10/2025 Cancellation Policy:Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level:2 Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:12 hour nights, every third weekend, every other holiday.
