Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum as staff therapist required; inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to 2. Cases: Pediatric and adult experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS required (AHA ONLY), NBRC-RRT required; copies required at submission 4. License: WI RCP required; must be in hand at submittal 5. Education: COARC accredited School for Respiratory-Therapy required 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Day/Evening 12-hour shifts (07-1930), every other weekend rotation, holidays, 1 on-call shift every 6-week scheduling period 8. RTO: No more than 2 weeks off in a contract; if request is more than 1 week consecutive, Vaya will add 1 week at end of contract; some units allow 1 holiday off 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50 miles from facility; locals are not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 40 orientation hours; telemetry exam required with strict passing criteria (80% or higher, 100% identification of lethal rhythms) 13.
