Qualifications:

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; also states 4 years in another section 2. Cases: NICU, ED and adult ICU cases; respiratory experience required including airway management, medication administration, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP and nebulizers 3. Certifications: BLS, CRTT, ACLS required (90-day window from start date to obtain ACLS); NRP and RRT preferred; must be obtained prior to start 4. License: VA License or Compact required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required/preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required, every other holiday; potential mandatory on-call 2-3 shifts per month/6 weeks 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; need to add week at end if requesting more than 7 days RTO; only 1 holiday request for OR/CST 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; will float within hospital or affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Nursys only background policy 12. Modules: 8 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start via WorkRamp within 1 week of signing 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required; first-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Wine color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Preferred ventilators are Servo U, Servo Air Critical: Must float to ER and Adult ICU Stepdown units. Charge responsibility required. Monthly department meeting attendance required or must read minutes and acknowledge. Travel pairs not allowed on SICU unit.
