Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required (with additional note that 4 years experience is listed elsewhere) 2. Cases: NICU, ER, Adult ICU experience; airway management, medication administration, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP and nebulizers 3. Certifications: BLS, CRTT, ACLS required (90-day window from start date to obtain ACLS); NRP and RRT preferred; must be obtained prior to start 4. License: VA License or Compact required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred/required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; potential mandatory on-call 2-3 shifts per month; night shift position 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; need to add week at end of assignment if requesting more than 7 days RTO 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; will float within hospital or affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: 8 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start via WorkRamp within 1 week of signing 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Wine color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Preferred ventilators: Servo U, Servo Air, Servo N Critical: Must include middle initial at submission. Submit copies of all required certs and current Nursys report. Must float to ER and Adult ICU Stepdown units. Attendance at monthly department meetings required.
