Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years required; open to reviewing candidates with 2+ years of experience 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: RRT cert and BLS required; ACLS preferred; ACCS preferred; copies of certifications required with submissions 4. License: VA State License required; can submit with VA license pending provided can obtain temp before start; must have another state license to be eligible for temp; RRT travelers must have license in-hand at time of submission 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required unless otherwise noted 7. Shifts/Call: Days, 36 or 48 hours; every other weekend; will float between sections on occasion 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; unable to approve Memorial Day or 4th of July RTO; no additional RTO requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; must be separated for one year and approved by UVA leadership; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of time off between contracts 10.
