Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years required; open to reviewing candidates with 2+ years experience 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: RRT cert and BLS required; ACCS preferred; copies required with submission 4. License: VA State License required; can submit with VA license pending provided can obtain temp before start, must have another state license to be eligible for temp; RRT travelers must have license in-hand at time of submission; Nursys verification required 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required unless otherwise noted 7. Shifts/Call: Days; 36 or 48 hours; every other weekend; will float between sections on occasion 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; unable to approve Memorial Day or 4th of July; no additional RTO requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; must be separated for one year and approved by leadership; facility does not allow travelers to return after 365 days on assignment regardless of separation period 10. Travel/Local: Select units have 50 mile travel restriction; locals not accepted for specific listed units 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12.
