- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (also mentions 2 years RN experience required) 2. Cases: Critical Care, General Care, Adults and/or Peds required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT or RRT, PALS and NALS preferred for Peds; must be American Heart Association certified 4. License: WV state license or compact license required; pending license acceptable 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner charting; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights 7pm-7am, weekdays, some weekends, float required; no on-call required; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: Must be submitted two weeks prior to next schedule and approved by manager; one pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked permanent; current Vandalia Health System employees not eligible for travel contracts 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius for travelers; facility will consider 75-100 miles on case-by-case basis with same rate 11. Background: Any previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case basis 12. Modules: 2-6 hours average, non-billable, completed prior to start, recorded on transcript with certificate of completion 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
