Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Adults, Geriatrics; Patient Volume/Load: 35-40 patients/shift 3. Certifications: BCLS, RRT required; BLS, CRT, PALS, RRT, IL license, CRT and/or RRT acceptable; All RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: IL license required; Illinois is NOT a compact state - license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; Epic is the charting system throughout BJC system 7. Shifts/Call: 1845-0715, weekends, holidays and optional call; Every other weekend required; On-call optional but not required 8. RTO: 1 request; No more than 7 days RTO per 13 week contract; No RTO first week of assignment; RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as traveler; Standard travelers can stay 18 months, must take 3 month break after 10. Travel/Local: 75 mile radius - no local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Black or Ceil Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Arterial punctures required; Spirometry testing preferred; Puritan Bennett, V60, HHFNC-Airvo preferred Critical: Must have ICU and ED experience. Float within service line to Memorial Belleville/Memorial East as needed. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. References preferred at submittal.
