- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: Adult Critical Care and NICU experience required 3. Certifications: BLS, CRT required; ACLS, NRP, PALS preferred; must be completed within one week of signing contract 4. License: MD State licensure required (either compact license or MD license) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights; no on call requirement; every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted at lower rate; driver's license copy required at submittal 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Minimum 1 travel assignment required 14. Scrubs: Not provided by facility; ceil blue color required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, Servo U ventilators Critical: Must complete labs and DS appointment within 48 hours of signing.
