Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Rehab – Inpatient 48’s
Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×4, 48 hrs/week, holiday rotation
Length: 12 weeks
No call; Every other weekend
Requirements:
- IA/Compact license
- 2 years experience
- Experienced and proficient caring for brain injury, limb loss and spinal cord injury
- At least 1 successful travel contract completed within previous 24 months
- AHA BLS
- Ideal candidate has Acute Rehab and/or Med Surg background in hospital setting
- Able to handle a variety of patients independently (neuro, ortho, trauma, oncology, etc) [highly preferred]
- NIHSS nice to have
Other Details:
- EMR: EPIC
- Acute Rehab patient population can be: Spinal cord injury, brain injury, oncology, limb loss, trauma/ortho, general debilitation. Nurses with Acute Rehab background or Med-Surg background are the most successful with our population
- Bed Size: 23
- Drips: Heparin
- Ratios: Day shift – 5:1
- Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist
- Will float across campuses and like units
- Local Radius rule: 50 miles
