- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for Radiation Therapist position; 2 years RN experience required 2. Cases: Daily caseload per tech: 20-35 patients a day; adult outpatient setting 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT, RT (R) (T), WV RT Board License required; BLS, ACLS, PALS must be via American Heart Association if required by unit 4. License: WV or compact license required; pending license acceptable; no prior suspensions allowed, probations considered case by case 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Mosaiq and iKnowMed for documentation; McKesson EMR experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 days, M-F 6:45a-5:15p or 06:45-03:15p; no weekends or on-call required 8. RTO: No restrictions mentioned; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last date worked permanent 10. Travel/Local: Must live greater than 100 miles from facility; locals not accepted; 75-99 miles considered case by case at same rate 11. Background: Any previous probationary actions on license considered case by case 12. Modules: 2-6 hours average, non-billable, completed prior to start, vary by specialty, recorded on transcript 13.
