- Unit Notes:OP Clinic: OSF Ctr for Hlth RT 91 Pd PEORIA, Illinois 61615 United States POSITION SUMMARY: The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist I performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Is responsible for performing technical procedures that may require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. They perform patient intake by collecting medical history and must be able to answer patient questions regarding the imaging procedure. They follow specific instructions from providers on what areas to image and guide patients through the imaging process safely and comfortably. They operate imaging equipment proficiently, have a firm understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body, demonstrate knowledge of proper imaging techniques in all patient populations and may confer with Providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborates to determine whether additional images are required. Cancellation Policy:Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:No Trauma Level: Care Setting:Outpatient Division:Allied Shift Notes:4 x 8 hour shifts 1130a- 8pm. or can also offer Sat, Sun-12's and Mon 1130-8 if that is a shift a candidate would prefer Required Certifications:BLS Certification, ARRT, BLS (AHA)
