Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Rad Tech
Shift: Days/ 7a-5p, 10×4, 40hrs/week
Length: 20 Weeks
Weekend Requirements: Every third, but may vary for a traveler and we will let you know ahead of time.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience
- May require some education and training to be allowed to practice (usually national credentials)
- Must have OR experience, able to work alone
- AHA BLS
- ARRT
- Must have experience in a busy prefer level 1 trauma center
- EPIC experience preferred
Other Details:
No new grads
Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: IP OP ER patients, lots of surgery.

Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech
- 1+ years of experience
- Unit Notes Department: Diagnostic Radiology | Rad Tech - General Certification Requirements: BLS - Certs/ARRT (MR) or NMTCB (Nuclear Med Tech Cert Board) & any other specialty certification requirements?: IEMA, ARRT. - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: IP OP ER patients, lots of surgery. - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: We are a level one trauma center. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: No new grads. Must have experience in a busy prefer level 1 trauma center. Must have OR experience, able to work alone. Preferred experience with Epic, OEC, Carestream. Must be self motivated, quick on feet, and flexible. - EMR &/or PACS do they use: EPIC. - Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): OEC, Carestream. - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): Typically 8's but we may have a need for 12s and would let you know ahead of time. - Weeknight/Call Requirements: N/A. - Weekend Requirements: Every third, but may vary for a traveler and we will let you know ahead of time. - Holiday/Call Requirement: No. - Call or Standby requirement?: No. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Per OSF Dress Code, No specific color. They are provided only when assigned in the OR. - Department specific orientation: 10.
