Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Mammography
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required (also notes 2 years in compliance section) 2. Cases: 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Needle Localizations, Screening Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy 3. Certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, ACLS required; NRP cert copy required for PICU/PEDS/RRT submittals 4. License: Compact accepted at submittal but must have AK license prior to starting for Acute specialties 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required, EPIC preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Not specified 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off, needs to be listed on profile 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 2 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Minimum 100 miles radius rule; locals not accepted 11. Background: Case by case approval, must be noted prior to submission 12. Modules: 4-5 hours average, billable, completed onsite during orientation and annually via HealthStream 13. Travel Experience: First timers okay 14. Scrubs: Black scrubs required for unit 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Pyxis medication system Critical: Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. 1:1 patient ratios. 16 hours orientation. Inpatient and outpatient work settings.
