- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum required 2. Cases: Daily caseload 13-17; Neuro (including stroke intervention) and Body procedures required 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT required; ARRT Advanced Cert preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; McKesson preferred 7. Shifts/Call: First shift 0700-0830 staggered start, M-F; Primary call one day every 4 weeks and weekend every 5th-6th weekend; Back up call approximately 7 days every 9 weeks 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less (not on holidays); more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation; RTO after booking not allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous PERM/PRN/EP staff must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate; locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; Acute Care roles 8-10 hours, Non-Acute roles 4-5 hours; completed pre-start via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13. Travel Experience: Required - does not accept first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment required; Acuson preferred Critical: Must complete lab work within 48 hours after signing. PACS and contrast experience required. Neuro and stroke experience in IR is a hard stop requirement. Hospital orientation required first week.
