Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months required, 2 years preferred 2. Cases: Circulate procedures in IR/IN and care for patients in prep/recovery phase; Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start); no certs pending accepted 4. License: Pending license accepted; facility does not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC required 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required - must respond within 30 minutes; will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles; guaranteed 36 hours for 12s, 3 for 8/10s 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; any RTO added later will likely not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: 6-15 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad; time sensitive modules must be prioritized 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: White scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Radiation and Laser Safety equipment Critical: SMOKE FREE FACILITY - All travelers must be nicotine free, negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required. EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts max. Two references from direct supervisor/manager required.
