Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; will accept first-time travelers 2. Cases: 10-15 cases daily; vascular IR including endografts, neurovascular and trauma along with body IR; must be familiar with wires; stroke thrombectomy facility 3. Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, Fluoro Permit, Indiana state license required; copies required, pending certifications accepted 4. License: Indiana state license required; pending state license accepted, must be active by start or participate in Aya licensure project 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 days (0700-1730, 0800-1630 when on call); 1 day call per week; weekend call every 3rd or 4th weekend 8. RTO: Maximum 10 days; must work 1 of 3 holidays if RTO during holidays 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; will not take locals 11. Background: Nursys only background policy 12. Modules: Up to 8 hours completed pre-start within 1 week of signing; billable up to 8 hours, average 3-8 hours; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: GE and Siemens Fluoro rooms preferred; must be familiar with thrombectomy devices Critical: Must have scrub experience and be familiar with neurovascular procedures.
