Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will accept first time travelers 2. Cases: 10-15 cases daily; Vascular IR including endografts, Neurovascular and trauma along with body IR; stroke thrombectomy; must have scrub experience 3. Certifications: ACLS, Fluoro Permit, ARRT R, BLS, Indiana state license required; will accept pending certifications 4. License: Valid state license must be pending or candidate must participate in Aya licensure project 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 days (0700-1530, 0800-1630 when on call); 1 day call per week; weekend call every third weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) 8. RTO: Maximum 10 days; must work 1 of 3 holidays if RTO during holidays 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; will not take locals 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: Up to 8 hours completed pre-start within 1 week of signing; billable up to 8 hours, average 3-8 hours; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: GE and Siemens Fluoro rooms preferred; familiar with thrombectomy devices for strokes Critical: Must be familiar with wires and able to scrub cases. Neurovascular IR experience preferred. Beacon is sensitive account - professional conduct issues may result in immediate termination.
