Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required 2. Cases: IR experience required; Cath Lab and IR experience required; 85%/15% split with IR being 85%; interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular and EP device implant procedures 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 8 hour days 07:30-16:00; Call required during week 16:00-07:30 next morning; Weekend call Friday 16:00 until Monday 07:30; Twice a week for two weeks in month, one call weekend per month 8. RTO: RTO after booking NOT allowed; Auto approve 7 days or less if not on holiday; Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; No RTO during first week due to orientation 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health or New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; must disclose previous employment 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate; Unit will accept first time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; Acute Care roles 8-10 hours; must be completed pre-start; recorded via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13. Interview required before offer. Patient ratios 1:3-4. 16-hour orientation. Fatigue policy: no more than 5 days in row or 60 hours per week.
