- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required (18 months general requirement with unit exceptions) 2. Cases: Proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR; able to scrub peripheral and neuro cases; stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephogram, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abd and pelvic, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI required; must be AHA certified 4. License: IN license required; must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at graduation 6. EMR: Cerner preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: On call every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday 1730 through Monday 0700 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO or less; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Former IU employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks after 12 months travel employment 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for surgical services, allied positions, and IU clinics at lower rate; not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER positions 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14.
