Qualifications:

- Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Vascular IR cases including angioplasty, carotid stenting, endovascular interventions, EVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, upper and lower extremity angiography 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT VI required; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license required but can submit with pending license if has licensure in another state, otherwise 8 weeks ETA; must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 8 hour days, 0730-1600, rotating call every 4th week 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours per 13-week contract; no additional requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; one year separation required for perm staff and internal travelers; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of separation 10. Travel/Local: 50 mile radius rule; locals not accepted for Imaging Support positions 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, recorded in Workday; excess hours are billable 13. Travel Experience: Trauma Level I experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Siemens ARTIS PHENO Critical: Position is for imaging support tech (not nurse) in OR working vascular IR. Float requirements within scope of practice. References required. 40 hours orientation.
