- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years required; 1 year of in-specialty experience required 2. Cases: 10-15 cases daily per tech 3. Certifications: BLS/CPR required; CT and/or RVT preferred; ACLS, ARRT R, BLS required; must be via American Heart Association if required by unit 4. License: ARRT and WV State License required; WV or Compact License; pending license acceptable but must have active WV license to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting System Experience preferred; Cerner preferred; uses Radiology Information System 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days 7a-6p, Tues-Fri; no weekends; no call requirement; sometimes have to stay over; 40 hours/week guaranteed 8. RTO: No RTO restrictions - discuss with manager in interview; RTO should be included on application at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Perm employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after last day worked perm; current Vandalia Health System employees not eligible for travel contracts 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule; 75-99 miles considered case-by-case at same rate 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on license considered case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 2-6 hours; completed prior to start; vary by specialty; recorded on transcript with certificate 13. Travel Experience: First timers accepted dependent on experience 14. Scrubs: Surgical scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only; not required outside October 1st - March 31st window 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Full file due noon Monday prior to start. Orientation every other week on Monday/Thursday. Minimum 2 manager/charge references within past 2 years required.
