- Unit Notes:- Radius:: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted - Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote 26-bed inpatient adult behavioral health department. Unit Psych RN - Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:06 "Required certifications (ie BLS, CPI, AVADE, etc...)" BLS - Patient Populations/Common diagnoses 55+ geri psych, do accept dementia as a primary diagnosis, bipolar is second highest - Do you use physical restraints on this unit? Have a seclusion room, but not staffed to take 1:1 at this time - Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? n/a - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 12 hour shifts - Weekend Requirements At least every third weekend - Holiday Requirements yes Is there call or a standby requirement? n/a Floating Requirements may float to medsurg and possibly OB, experience with floating outside of psych highly preferred Scrub Color/Dress Code Solid colors only, no prints Unit/Department specific orientation 3- 12 hour shifts on the unit Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:6p-6a; EOW Required Certifications:BLS (AHA)
