Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience required 2. Cases: Postpartum patients (vaginal delivery, C/S delivery), postpartum readmits (wound infection, preeclampsia), healthy newborns, NAS infants 3. Certifications: BLS/IV certification, NRP required; IV start skills required; must pass EKG exam prior to start for telemetry interpretation 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 3-4 dyads (6-8 pts) for days, nights, and weekends; weekend coverage required; may float to MSC (antepartum-team nursing) 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off days; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required; strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start 12. Modules: 36 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel nursing experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Telemetry interpretation required Critical: Must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract. Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director). Labor & delivery experience required.
