- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; pediatric experience required; servo vent experience required 2. Cases: Typical medical/surgical ICU patients that are non-cardiac (Respiratory, Trauma, Neuro, etc.) 3. Certifications: BLS through American Heart Association required; PALS required; Certified Pediatric Nurse or Certified Critical Care Nurse preferred 4. License: Current valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license required 5. Education: Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor's degree from accredited school of nursing required 6. EMR: Previous experience with EPIC preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 1:2 (day/night/weekend); weekend coverage every other; float required to NICU, CCU, or MS 8. RTO: Pre-approved time off: two 9. Returning Staff: Do not accept former permanent employees as travel 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius from facility; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted; Level II trauma experience required; experience from large pediatric hospital required 14.
