Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3+ years of PICU critical care experience required, with 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred; 2 years minimum experience required 2. Cases: Medtronic pacemakers, tele monitoring, cardiac experience preferred 3. Certifications: BLS and PALS required; NRP preferred; all required at time of submission 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend (Sat/Sun), patient ratio 1:2+ 8. RTO: Screenshot of RTO confirmation required upon submission; requests with less than 7 days RTO prioritized; RTO after offer not accommodated; must work 2 of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone minimum 1 year before eligible for travel assignments; first time travelers not accepted 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; previous travel experience required 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits not accepted 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN average 18 hours; 4 hours EPIC training plus up to 18 additional hours; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first time travelers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Experience required in BIPAP/CPAP, vents, high flow nasal cannula, trachs Critical: Must float to Pediatrics and NICU if needed. Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Experience with medtronic pacemakers and tele monitoring required.
