- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers okay; travel experience required for Critical Care Travelers (PCU, Stepdown, ICU) 2. Cases: PT Acute Care - various units including Step Down telemetry, CICU post-CABG, ICU vent weaning, Surgery/Ortho post-op, Med/Surg floors, Pediatric Floor, Outpatient Surgery, Emergency Department 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Georgia Nursing License required; must match name on Driver's License and Social Security Card exactly; original documents only, no copies accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required; no training available; travelers tested during orientation; must provide how recent EPIC usage was and total experience amount 7. Shifts/Call: 1 weekend per calendar month required; flexible on weekend days; comp time provided following week; shift start/end times can be adjusted 8. RTO: Must be presented upfront or will not be approved; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No local travelers; must live outside 50 miles 11. Background: Drugs/Alcohol related items disqualify candidates (DS, BGH, NURSYS) 12. Modules: 8 hours non-billable; completed during orientation; may need completion outside orientation depending on self-pacing; EPIC training separate from modules 13.
