Requirements

- Unit Notes:**Will consider a traveler with less than 2 years of experience, but they must have Home Health Experience - Unit: Home Health for Therapy (PT, OT, SLP) - # beds: Average daily census 78 (will grow with PT availability) - Certs: BLS. PT staff do SOC visits, especially with ortho patients when nursing is not ordered. - Ratios: 5 visits per day - EMR: HCHB - HomeCare HomeBase - Charge Nurse: Intake RN and Manager in the office - Nurse Aides: Yes - Weekend Requirement: None - Holidays: off - Scrub Color: N/A - Vents: no - Call: no - Shifts: days - Floor specific orientation: N/A - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Orthopedic/joint replacements, geriatric patients with multiple co morbidities CHF, COPD - Additional Notes: Staff are provided a tablet for the EMR. The service area is most of Tehama County with a few small areas that are not located within office range. Mileage for therapists per day is around 40 miles but anticipate that will reduce with additional therapy staff and re distribution of patient load by area.
