Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Physical Therapist
Shift: Variable D/E 9a-5:30p Sun/Thurs, 11a-7:30p Mon-Wed 8×5, 40hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement: yes – they will have to work either every Saturday or every Sunday
Holidays: yes, they will work them in with perm staff rotation, one major and one minor typicall
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2 Years Experience
- BLS
- Speech Therapist required to have CCC-SLP
- EMR: Cerner
Other Details:
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Rehab – spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, a few ortho, no vents General inpatient – ortho, general medical, surgical, bariatrics, ICU, and cardiac Sub-acute – vented patients, long term patient
- Speech must have experience with swallow studies and it would be nice if OT has swallow experience (preferred – this is a rare specialty cert for OT)
- Charting System: Cerner

- Unit Notes - Unit: PT, OT, Speech - Certs: BLS. Speech Therapist required to have CCC-SLP - EMR: Cerner - Rehab Aides/OTA/PTA: No - Weekend Requirement: yes - they will have to work either every Saturday or every Sunday - Holidays: yes, they will work them in with perm staff rotation, one major and one minor typically - Scrub Color/Uniform : Polo- provided and then khakis or black pants - Outpatient and Inpatient: Both - however they will hire specific to what is needed - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Sh
