- Unit Notes:# of patients treated per day 12 +/- General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, CA PT license Common diagnosis / Types of patients General Medical/Deconditioned, TKA, THA, Spinal sx, General ortho pts, CVA Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Acute Inpatient What areas are they required to cover? Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties Acute Inpatient PT experience is required Manager/Supervisor Abe Rodriguez, Rehab Services Manager Rehab Aides: PTA's No PTA's and one aide to cover one hospital Joana Shifts & Scheduling Mostly 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with occasional working one day a week 10-6:30. Weekend Requirement One weekend every third weekend, with the Monday and Friday off those weekends Holiday Requirement None Scrub Color/Dress Code Burgundy POLO and scrub or khaki bottoms Department specific orientation Yes, will have general hospital orientation then will have a few days in each area to get familiar and learn the system. Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
