Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Ages 0-17, medical surgical patients and hematology/oncology 3. Certifications: BCLS and PALS required 4. License: NC or Compact license (pending OK for submittal) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days 06:45-19:15, no call requirement, float to PICU and NICU required, every other weekend 8. RTO: 7 days maximum auto-approved (no holidays), must work 2 of 3 major holidays, no RTO during first week, cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying, disclosure required with hospital name/dates 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers if they have 2 years experience 14. Scrubs: Not provided, fun kid tops and navy pants required 15.
