- Unit Notes:Job Overview: Join our team as a Travel RN and deliver high-quality care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment. You ll work with a dynamic healthcare team, adapt to new settings, and ensure excellent patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assess, plan, and provide care across all age groups, adapting care to individual needs. Collaboration: Work with doctors and teams to create and execute care plans. Education & Support: Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans. Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely patient records per hospital guidelines. Emergency Response: Act quickly and calmly in emergency situations. Discharge Planning: Help develop and review discharge plans with the healthcare team. Quality Improvement: Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain readiness for Joint Commission surveys. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 6 months). Specialty certifications preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in acute care nursing. Pediatric experience preferred. Skills: Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. Familiar with EMR systems.
