- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2-3 years of Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care and Pre Testing experience required; minimum 2 years specialty experience 2. Cases: Care of Ventilated Patient, Conscious Sedation, ICP monitoring, Level I Trauma Center, Pedi PACU, Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, Pre-Post, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring 3. Certifications: BLS, PALS required 4. License: Active D.C. nursing license required; for MD locations must have compact or MD license; for VA locations must have compact or VA license; must apply for DC license within 24-48 hours of signing 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call; every other weekend/holiday required; must make up missed shifts 8. RTO: Maximum 1 week RTO; if full week RTO, must add week to contract; one holiday guaranteed; RTO submitted after offer will not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone minimum 1 year to return as traveler; photo required upon signature 10. Travel/Local: No mile restrictions for locals; locals accepted at same bill rate 11.
