Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN – PACU
Shift: Variable Days/ start time between 6a-9:30a, 8’s/10’s
Length: 13 Weeks
Weekdays Only – Monday to Friday
Requirements:
- CA license
- 2 Years PACU experience
- Must be comfortable and willing to float between PreOp, PACU, Moderate Sedation
- Previous Charge Experience
- ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA)
- Epic Experience
Other Details:
PACU/PreOp RNs are needed for per diem
Requirements
• Experience – 2 Years PACU
• Work Settings – Ambulatory/Outpatient, Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery,
• Certifications –ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA or ARC accepted)
• State License
• Must be comfortable and willing to float between PreOp, PACU, Moderate Sedation
• Previous Charge Experience
• Epic Experience
• 2 Professional References – Must be within last year
Orientation Details
• Virtual New Employee Orientation (NEO): Offered weekly on Monday.
• Required Modules: Assigned and completed during NEO; all modules must be finished before unit orientation can be scheduled.
• Unit Orientation: 2–3 shifts, scheduled based on clinician availability. Preference is for these shifts to be completed consecutively following NEO.
Shift Details
• Days – 0600 to 1430
• Variable Start Times Available – 0600 to 0930
• 8 and 10 Hour Shifts
• Weekdays Only – Monday to Friday

• Scrub Color – Black
• Sutter Separation Period – 1 Year
• Patient Ratio – 1:2
• Average Daily Census – 50 Surgical Cases
• Experience – 2 Years PACU
