- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, Endo/Laparoscopic, General, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Ortho/Total joints 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Alert account manager if traveler has foreign education requiring verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: 3-1130pm x 5 or 1-1130pm x 4; 2 weekend call shifts monthly when requesting 4 shifts total (2 weekend and 2 weeknight); weeknights and weekend shifts call required 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted; must be greater than 75 miles 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours; excess of 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Provided - Teal 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: RNs need mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement as required skills. Patient ratios 3:1 days and nights. 16 orientation hours. Unit has 27 beds. Candidates will float.
