- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Ortho, GYN, URO, General, Spine, Vascular, some Eyes; small pediatric population with tonsils and adenoids; pediatric emergency procedures like testicular torsion 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; copies of certifications required 4. License: MA license required in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred but not required 7. Shifts/Call: 5-6 night shifts in 6 weeks (2200-0700 on-call); 2-3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks; staggered shifts starting 0800, unit closes 1930 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Must wait 1 year period before eligible to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Evaluated on case by case basis 12. Modules: 24 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15.
