- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of direct LIVER/TRANSPLANT OR RN experience required (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred) 2. Cases: Must have strong liver, heart, lung & kidney transplant experience; must have experience putting organs back in new patient, not just harvesting; 0645-1715 with liver call 3. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start); no pending certs accepted 4. License: Pending license accepted; facility does not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month; guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12s, 40 hours for 8/10s 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; any RTO added later will likely not be approved 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: 6-15 hours average, completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad, non-billable; time sensitive modules must be prioritized 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Ceil Blue provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA Critical: Smoke free facility - all travelers must be nicotine free with negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen. EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts max. Teaching facility participation required. 2 references from direct supervisor required.
