Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: General, Ortho, Neuro, Plastics required (send as screen if no Plastics experience); must have 4's on skills checklist for specific Neuro surgeries including anterior cervical fusion, burr holes, cervical fusion, craniotomy, deep brain stimulation, insertion of VP shunt, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, stereotactic radiosurgery, Posterior Fossa Decompression, ALIF, and MIS 3. Certifications: BLS required, NBSTSA heavily preferred 4. License: Must have DC license in hand for DC locations; compact license or MD license for MD locations 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 day shifts 0700-1700; up to 6 calls per 6 week schedule with 60-minute response time 8. RTO: 3 days per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract 9. Returning Staff: Must have been separated for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation; must be completed within one week of signing contract 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - no exemptions 16.
