- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Strong ortho, neuro, and general skills required; big belly/crani/ortho trauma experience highly preferred 2. Cases: General, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, sports medicine 3. Certifications: BLS required; NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech certification required 4. License: VA or other state license required; if out-of-state license held, must obtain VA state license with 90-day authorization to work while processing 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 7a-7p, plus call rotation with staff, occasional weekends and holidays 8. RTO: All requests must be included in submission 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning; after July 1, 2025, no return after 365 days worked despite separation period 10. Travel/Local: No locals accepted; 100-mile radius rule; candidates within 100 miles considered local 11. Background: Not specified 12.
