Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Certified Pediatric Cardiac OR

Shift: Days / 6:30a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks 

Weekend rotation: Call only
On call? Yes. 1 call shift per week (EOS – following morning), 2 weekends in 6-week period (EOS Friday – Monday morning). 30-minute response time

Requirements:

• 3 years Peds CVOR experience
• Skills required: Experience scrubbing with above patient types (send for manager approval if 1 or 2 things they do not have experience with)
• Certification is not required however candidate must register with the state to work in the state 
• BLS
• CST

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• Floating: Will help General OR to assist with cases when not busy in CVOR
• Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Level IV NICU
• First-time traveler? No, unless 5+ Peds CVOR experience
• 1st scrub experience – handing supplies to surgeon, counting instruments
• 2nd scrub – counts, helps with back table
• First-time traveler? No, unless 5+ Peds CVOR experience
• Must be in 1st Scrub Role, not just 2nd Scrub Role
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Neonates – 18; will see adult sized patients as well as infants and everything in between. Could see patients who are developmentally delayed and/or have congenital anomalies. Cardiothoracic cases – Tetralogy of Fallot, pericardial window, transposition of great vessels, open heart valve repairs, ECMO, PDA ligation through thoracotomy, ASD repairs
