- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years Surgical Technologist experience in hospital setting; 1 year cardiothoracic experience; open heart experience required 2. Cases: Open Heart & Thoracic procedures required; ECMO, Impella insertion, Robotics, CABG, Valve Replacement, VATS, Lung Resection, Aortic Aneurysm Repair preferred 3. Certifications: CORST, CST or TSC required; BLS from AHA only required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic Optime 7. Shifts/Call: Days 4x10 (0600-1900); rotational night, weekend, holiday call; 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month on call 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
