- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years CVOR experience required; 2 years minimum for RNs 2. Cases: Orthopedic sports, minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, robotics, general, GYN, URO, plastics; experience with neuro, spine, thoracic and vascular a plus 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: WA License required; compact license or WA single state acceptable 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a huge plus but not required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s 0900 start; CT call required; 3 weeknight call shifts per 4 week schedule and 2-24hr weekends per month 8. RTO: 1 week max; keep to minimum; cannot accommodate during orientation week 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff must be separated from facility for 18 months before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no difference in bill rate 11. Background: Must disclose any background hits or DUIs at time of submission 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN 5-6 hours, Allied 2-3 hours; completed pre-start except EPIC module during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; first-timers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color; scrubs provided for OR personnel 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Two references required upon submittal, preferably supervisory. Will float within hospital. 36 orientation hours.
