- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required 2. Cases: 3-6 cases per day; experience required with CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Root, Aortic Dissection, LVAD, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, Aortic Aneurysm Repair; scrub experience required; General Surgery experience required 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and NBSTSA also listed 4. License: Nebraska license required; takes 4-6 weeks to obtain and must be in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days 6:30a-4:30p; weeknight call 1-2 nights/week; weekend call every 1-2 weekends; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in 4-week period 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; post-confirmation RTO may be denied; no RTO during first week of orientation; up to two weeks allowed for Medical Surgical units 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be more than 100 miles from facility; locals NOT accepted 11. Background: Do not submit candidates with license hits for RRT and Radiology 12. Modules: Mandatory charting class Friday of orientation week 13. Travel Experience: Yes required; first time travelers NOT accepted 14. Scrubs: OR scrubs provided by facility; RNs wear mandatory Steele gray scrubs with Nebraska Medicine logo 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: DaVinci experience highly preferred Critical: 100% Nicotine Free Facility; Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred; must go to labs within 48-72 hours of accepting offer; all contracts must end on Sunday; compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start by 4 PM CST.
