Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required 2. Cases: 3-6 cases per day; CABG, MVR, AVR, Aortic Root, Aortic Dissection, LVAD, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, Aortic Aneurysm Repair required 3. Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required, NBSTSA required 4. License: Nebraska license required; must be in hand at submission or start date will be 6 weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Weeknight call 1-2 nights/week, weekend call every 1-2 weekends, 2 nights/week call, 24 hours Fri-Mon AM; block schedule cannot be accommodated 8. RTO: Must be included at submission, post-confirmation RTO may be denied, no RTO during first week orientation, up to two weeks allowed for Medical Surgical units 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be more than 100 miles from facility, locals not accepted 11. Background: Do not submit candidates with license hits for RRT and Radiology 12. Modules: Mandatory charting class Friday of orientation week 13. Travel Experience: Yes required, first time travelers not accepted (may be considered with 3+ years exp at level 1 trauma center, 690+ bed hospital, with 3-6 cases/day) 14. Scrubs: OR scrubs provided by facility; RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with Nebraska Medicine logo 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: DaVinci experience highly preferred Critical: 100% Nicotine Free Facility. Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred. Experience with General Surgery required, will float to other service lines. Scrubs experience required. Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in 4-week period. Must go into labs within 48-72 hours of accepting offer. All contracts must end on Sunday.
