Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required in specialty 2. Cases: Required - Cardiac surgery: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, Aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and trans-catheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement. Vascular surgery: Endovascular and open vascular procedures: AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm including fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, ECMO decannulation and repositioning. Preferred - General, endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatrics, Transplant 3. Certifications: NBSTSA or NCCT required; BLS required; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid state license in hand preferred, otherwise must apply for MN license through Aya project at time offer is accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic/Excellian required for some positions; Excellian/Epic charting system used 7. Shifts/Call: Up to 2 weekends per month, up to 2 weekdays per week, holiday call if needed 8. RTO: No more than 5 days restriction 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as Perm (Staff or Per Diem) 10. Travel/Local: 100 mile radius requirement - locals not accepted 11. Background: Cannot proceed if there is an open case; all hits reviewed during compliance process 12. Modules: Pre-start modules required, average 8 hours, $150 stipend provided; all onsite modules billable 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
