Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years pediatric OR experience required; must have experience scrubbing and circulating ophthalmology cases 2. Cases: Must have experience with ophthalmology cases; general surgery, ortho, neuro experience preferred; proficiency in laparoscopic surgery preferred 3. Certifications: AHA BLS and PALS required; CNOR preferred 4. License: Current CA RN license required 5. Education: BSN required for all RN positions 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days; must be willing to float to other UCSF facilities and to adult OR 8. RTO: All tentative RTO must be included at time of submittal; limited to 1-week total for Auto-Offer units; additional mid-contract requests not accepted; must be approved by hiring manager at time of offer 9. Returning Staff: Must include employment history with any UC medical facility including dates worked, units worked, and manager names for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: Must float within 75+ mile radius; travel pairs allowed but generally not on same unit; married couples may not work same unit 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 1-24 hours depending on unit/specialty; non-billable and included in NBO hours; completed during pre-start and annually; anything over 24 hours is billable 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel assignment required; must have prior travel within 12 months 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16.
