Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; also states 1 year required experience in submittal details 2. Cases: Diverse cases required - need experience in ortho-total joint and trauma, Neuro, GYN/Urology, Vascular, Thoracic 3. Certifications: BLS, CNOR required; mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement required 4. License: NY license required in hand to submit 5. Education: Alert account manager if traveler has foreign education requiring verification 6. EMR: EPIC experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: Call required; candidates will float; block scheduling; patient ratios 1:1 days and nights 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days RTO; minimal RTO preferred 9. Returning Staff: 1 year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles not accepted; first-time travelers not accepted 11. Background: Reviewed on case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total may reach 10 hours; excess over 5 hours non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded via facility report 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Teal 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System mentioned in skills; 14 beds in unit
