- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 5 years in acute care operating room setting (well rounded - strong in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, GYN) 2. Cases: General, neuro, ortho, ENT, GYN cases 3. Certifications: BLS required; radiation badge must be provided by agency 4. License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required; SC license prioritized 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s, 7a-5p; on-call required - 2 star call till 11pm per week and every 3rd-4th weekend call 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at submission; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius rule; locals not accepted; non-local candidates prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 4 hours average, non-billable, included in NBO hours, completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted if they have broad scope of specialty competency 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
